NSC Staffing Position Overview NSC Staffing is hiring an experienced Senior Outfitter for a marine production facility in Slidell, LA. This role supports the installation, assembly, and integration of mechanical and structural components on marine vessels and industrial equipment. Ideal candidates have strong mechanical aptitude, outfitting experience, and the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment. Key Responsibilities Install and assemble mechanical, structural, and outfitting components Perform layout, fitting, and installation of brackets, pipe supports, and equipment foundations Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments Assist with alignment, installation, and integration of systems and equipment Ensure work meets quality standards and production schedules Maintain a safe work environment and follow all safety procedures Qualifications 5+ years of experience as a Marine Outfitter, Mechanical Assembler, or Shipyard Outfitter Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings (Preferred) Experience installing mechanical systems, structural components, or marine equipment Proficient with hand and power tools in an industrial environment Ability to work in a team environment and meet production deadlines Work Environment Shipyard and industrial production setting Fast-paced environment supporting marine and industrial projects Benefits Competitive Pay Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance 401(k) Retirement Plan Referral Bonuses Weekly Pay (Direct Deposit / Pay Card) OSHA Training & Certifications Provided Long-Term Career Opportunities #MA50 How to
