Job Description
Responsibilities Engage children and their families in a variety of camp activities, including sports, arts and crafts, theater, and outdoor adventures. Ensure the safety and well-being of all campers by maintaining vigilant supervision and adhering to safety protocols. Manage group behavior through positive reinforcement, classroom management techniques, and behavior management strategies. Assist with daily routines such as mealtimes, and transitions between activities. Support campers with special needs or behavioral challenges by applying inclusive teaching methods and childhood development principles. Collaborate with fellow staff members to plan and execute age-appropriate programming that promotes teamwork and personal growth. Provide basic first aid when necessary and communicate effectively with parents or guardians about camper progress or concerns.
