Activities Coordinator (Sunday/Monday) The Newbury of Brookline - 3.3 Brookline, MA Job Details Part-time $22 - $23 an hour 13 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Paid time off Vision insurance 401(k) matching Referral program Qualifications First aid High school diploma or GED First Aid Certification Driving Group fitness Full Job Description The Activities Assistant provides exemplary service to residents through presenting classes and instruction, coordinating events, and assisting with transportation as needed.
Availability:
Sunday/Monday 9:30am-7pm
Pay:
$22.50-$23/hr •Memory Care Experience Preferred•What will I do every day? Promote and monitor resident attendance and participation in all Wellness programs Teach and facilitate programs as appropriate Drive vehicles as necessary Implement a variety of group and individual Wellness programs Work with volunteers and community groups to implement various programs Assist in setting up Wellness and community events Assist with scheduling transportation as required What will I need to be successful in this role? Bring a smile to work every day Be a great team player High school graduate One to two years of experience in wellness programs (preferably with seniors) Experience leading exercise classes and assisting with exercise equipment preferred Special Requirements/Certifications I may need? Valid driver's license and proof of good driving record Commercial driver's license or ability to obtain one within reasonable time of employment (as required) First Aid Certification What's in it for me?
