Activities Assistant - Memory Care

Come join our amazing TEAM… The Village at Proprietors Green (VPG) is a well-established (149-unit) Luxury Apartment Senior Living Community offering a continuum of Independent, Assisted Living and Memory Care apartments in Marshfield MA with a strong reputation of caring and empathy. We are part of Welch Senior Living, a family-owned provider of Senior services for over 75 years. This is a 40 hour per week position (10am - 6pm), and may include weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

Develops and assists in the execution of a diverse range of activities, from arts and crafts to outings and social events. Encourages and assists Residents to join in activities fostering social interaction and providing one-on-one engagement. This role requires compassion, strong communication and organizational skills to create engaging and fun experiences for Residents with various abilities and backgrounds. Must have a High School degree or equivalent. Previous work in a hospitality, assisted living or health care setting preferred. Interest and demonstrated ability to work with the elderly. Individualized skills in crafts, music, education and physical activities are helpful.
