Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Every Other Weekend Activities Aide to enrich the lives of residents in our assisted living community. This role includes facilitating engaging recreational activities tailored to seniors' interests and needs. The Activities Aide will work closely with residents, staff, and families to promote socialization, mental stimulation, and overall well-being. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the daily lives of seniors while fostering a lively and supportive environment. Duties Plan and coordinate a variety of recreational activities, including games, arts and crafts, music sessions, outings, and themed events that cater to residents' interests and abilities. Facilitate engaging activities that promote social interaction, cognitive function, and physical movement among residents. Assist residents with participation in activities, ensuring safety and encouragement at all times. Follow activity schedules Foster a warm, inclusive atmosphere that promotes resident independence, dignity, and enjoyment during activities. Communicate regularly with residents' families about activity participation and upcoming events to encourage family involvement. Pay rate $17.00 an hour. Hours 9 am - 5:30pm
