Hourly On-Court Compensation:
starting at $40-45/hour Administrative hours: Minimum of 15 hours per week, paid at an hourly rate of $15/hour.
Schedule:
5 days a week; Evenings, weekends and holidays as needed to support program operations, tournaments, and events. This is a temporary seasonal position with an expected end date on or around August 21, 2026. The Assistant Racquets Professional supports all racquets programs at the club, including tennis and pickleball. This role assists in delivering exceptional member experience through quality instruction, engaging programming, and outstanding service. The Assistant Racquets Professional will work closely with the Director of Racquets to coach, organize events, and ensure smooth daily operations of the department. The ideal candidate is energetic, professional, and passionate about racquet sports and member service.
On-Court Compensation:
starting at $40-45/hour.
Primary Responsibilities:
Assist with developing and improving the overall racquets program. Collaborate with the Director of Racquets on various scheduling and programming such as adult tournaments and events. Provide private and group lessons to juniors, ladies and men. Help members with Racquet Shop sales and communicate often with the Director of Racquets regarding programming status and strategies for growth. Teach exclusively using 10 and under guidelines for juniors 4-10 years' old. Administrative duties include but are not limited to responding to emails/calls, booking courts and lessons, and light court maintenance. Attentive to the general upkeep and appearance of the Racquet facilities. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications A minimum of 2 years' professional teaching experience is required. Private club experience is preferred. A minimum current playing level of 5.0 is required. PPTR or USTA certification is preferred. Bachelor's degree is preferred. Reliable, professional, and punctual. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to connect with children and parents. Must possess strong communication skills and be a team player, be willing to work nights and weekends, and have a very strong work ethic. Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) for communication, scheduling, and reporting purposes. Members First and Jonas experience is preferred but necessary.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to stand, walk, and be active on court for extended periods of time. Ability to lift and move equipment up to 50lbs. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, humidity, cold, and light rain. Physical conditioning and stamina required to maintain full time teaching schedule, along with off-court duties The Country Club is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
