• Junior Camp Counselor Pittsfield, MA Apply About the Role Bousquet Sport is seeking enthusiastic and responsible Junior Camp Counselors to support our summer and school vacation camp programs.

This is an entry-level position designed for individuals who enjoy working with children and are looking to build leadership, responsibility, and teamwork skills in a structured camp environment. Junior Counselors play an important supporting role in ensuring campers have a safe, engaging, and positive experience each day. Key Responsibilities

• Assist Camp Counselors in supervising campers during activities and transitions
• Support the execution of daily schedules, games, and structured programming
• Help set up, organize, and clean up activity areas and equipment
• Engage with campers and encourage participation in all activities
• Maintain a positive, inclusive, and safe environment
• Follow direction from Camp Counselors and Head Camp Counselor
• Actively participate in recreational activities and group engagement Qualifications
• Interest in working with children in a camp, recreational, or educational setting
• Responsible, dependable, and positive attitude
• Strong teamwork and willingness to learn
• Ability to take direction and support group leadership

Preferred:

• Prior experience in camps, childcare, or youth programs Requirements

• Ability to meet all Massachusetts Department of Public Health camp regulations (105 CMR 430.000) Physical Demands
• Ability to remain active and on your feet for extended periods
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Frequent walking, standing, bending, kneeling, and reaching
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs (equipment and supplies)
• Ability to respond quickly to camper needs, including short-distance running
