Seasonal | Full-time hours available About the Role This role is ideal for individuals with ewxperience in preschool, daycare, Montessori, early childhood education, childcare, or youth programs who enjoy active, hands-on learning and supporting young children's growth and independence. Our program is play-based and developmentally focused, offering a structured yet flexible environment where children build social skills, confidence, creativity, and early academic foundations. Key Responsibilities Supervise and ensure the safety of children ages 2.9-6 at all times (indoor and outdoor environments) Plan and lead engaging early childhood activities including arts and crafts, sensory play, music, movement, outdoor games, and group learning experiences Support social-emotional development, independence, and positive peer interactions Maintain a consistent daily routine including snack, lunch, transitions, restroom routines, and rest time Create a warm, inclusive, and structured early childhood learning environment Collaborate with staff to ensure smooth daily operations and consistent routines Adapt activities to meet the developmental needs of preschool-aged children Participate in required training, onboarding, and staff meetings Qualifications Experience working with young children in a daycare, preschool, Montessori, camp, or early childhood classroom setting Background in early childhood education, child development, or related field preferred Strong ability to supervise and engage groups of young children Ability to remain calm, patient, and positive in a busy childcare environment Strong communication and teamwork skills Passion for working with young children in a nurturing, supportive setting Preferred Skills Experience in inclusive early childhood classrooms or differentiated learning environments Knowledge of positive behavior guidance and social-emotional learning (SEL) strategies Montessori or play-based education experience Strong classroom or group management skills Creativity in planning hands-on, developmentally appropriate activities What We Offer Supportive early childhood team environment Hands-on experience in a preschool / Montessori-style setting Opportunity to build classroom management and early childhood teaching skills Meaningful work supporting early learning and development Compensation $18•20 per hour depending on experience and certifications
