Job Description

Summary Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Senior Resident Assistant to play a key role in our Assisted Living community at Loomis Lakeside at Reeds Landing. In this vital role, you will be instrumental in assisting leadership with administrative support for the Assisted Living team to ensure residents' needs are met using person centered care. Essential Functions:
Performs job functions in a manner consistent with the mission and goals of The Loomis Communities. Adheres to The Loomis Communities Compliance and Ethics Program. Demonstrates an awareness of, a respect for and attention to the diversity of the people with whom they interact (persons served, personnel, families/caregivers, and other stakeholders) that is reflected in attitudes, behavior and services. Assists with orientation and training of new employees and staff evaluations, as requested. Responds to emergency situations and provides basic first aid care when needed within the limits of training and the policies of the Loomis Communities. Monitors supply inventory and equipment as needed Communicates issues and needs to ensure prompt resolution of problems Reviews Resident Assistant documentation for accuracy and completeness and monitors daily communication books. Meets all competency requirements, including SAMMS and educational, training requirements. Interacts with residents by providing direct and supportive services for residents to promote independence, and choice. Encourages residents to meet individual needs, attend programs of interest and assists to participate as needed. Completes schedules, staffing assignments, billing and payroll, as requested, in timely manner. Reviews residents plan of care to make certain they are still relevant Fills in for team member call outs when possible. Works with life engagement team to ensure RA downtime is filled with resident assistant lead activities Assigns and monitor Resident Assistants breaks and lunchtime Works with Saido Director to assist with accompanying residents to and from sessions
Qualifications Required Education:
High School Preferred Education:
Minimum of three years in Assisted Living or other relevant experience.
Preferred Licenses:
CNA certificate CPR certificate
