Summer Camp Coordinator (Code Ninjas Springfield) 372 Cooley Street, Springfield, MA 01128 $20 an hour - Part-time $20 an hour - Part-time
WE ARE NOW HIRING FOR SUMMER 2026!
Code Ninjas Springfield is looking for a highly organized, responsible, and enthusiastic Summer Camp Coordinator to oversee the daily operations of our exciting STEM and coding camps. You will be the primary adult presence on the floor, working closely with the Center Director to ensure our Summer Camps run smoothly, safely, and effectively. What Qualities Are We Looking For?
Leadership:
Confident in guiding a team of young instructors (Senseis) and keeping daily operations completely on track.
Organization:
Highly detail-oriented when it comes to attendance, schedules, and facility maintenance.
Professionalism:
Unwaveringly punctual, reliable, and communicative.

Friendly, patient, and highly engaging with parents, campers (Ninjas), and staff. Duties & Responsibilities Open the
Center:
Arrive promptly each morning to unlock the doors, prep the Dojo, and ensure the facility is completely ready for the day's camps. Manage the
Senseis:
Ensure all teaching instructors arrive on time, stay on task, and have the operational support they need to effectively lead their groups.
Oversee Check-In & Check-Out:
Maintain accurate daily attendance lists, check kids in safely every morning, and manage a smooth, secure parent pickup process. Maintain the
Dojo:
Keep the center safe, clean, and organized throughout the day, ensuring all equipment, bathrooms, and workspaces are strictly maintained. Liaise with
Leadership:
Act as the primary on-the-floor adult point of contact, working closely with the Center Director to troubleshoot issues and maintain a high-quality camp experience.
Ensure Safety Protocols:
Monitor the floor constantly to guarantee physical safety, enforce center rules, and ensure an effective, distraction-free environment.
Requirements Relevant Experience:
Proven past experience in summer camp coordination, after-school program management, daycare administration, or similar leadership duties.
Leadership Capability:
Must be a responsible adult capable of comfortably supervising high school/college-aged staff as well as young children.
Communication Skills:
Excellent interpersonal skills for interacting confidently with parents, staff, and kids.
Certifications:
First Aid / CPR certified (Preferred).
Availability & Applying Camp Season:
Dedicated summer position.
Schedule:
Monday to Friday, strictly 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Work Location:
In person at the Springfield location.
Pay:
$20.00 per hour
