Activities Assistant

Looking for an enthusiastic, caring person who enjoys working with the elderly !! Assists in carrying out a program of activities which provides entertainment, intercommunication, exercise, and relaxation to all residents. Assists in carrying out a program of activities which provides all residents the opportunity to express creative talent and fulfill basic psychological, social and spiritual needs. Assists in outside activities. Assists residents with hobbies. Assists residents with arts and crafts activities. Assists residents with group activities. Encourages participation in religious activities. Prints and distributes monthly activities calendar. Participates in Quality Improvement as assigned. Completes Activities Attendance Records. Committed to working with residents and families to develop and implement strategies that promote person-centered care.
