Job Description

Looking for a new opportunity, then look no further! Lydia Taft House is a Family-Owned Skilled Nursing and Rehab Facility with immediate openings in our Activities Department . Lydia Taft House is located in Uxbridge, MA and offers Quality Care, in a Small, Home Like Setting for residents and staff alike. Our ideal candidates will be dependable and enthusiastic team players with reliable transportation. Our perfect candidate will have long term care experience and be comfortable in the elderly community.
We are immediately hiring:
Activities Assistants ~24 hours/week
Activities Assistant Responsibilities:
Be a caring companion for elderly residents, read and play games with them, perform manicures, assist in exercise classes, listen to their stories, be kind, and help the Activities Director with administrative duties when necessary. Lead Activities in Director's absence. Our ideal candidate will be an energetic, compassionate, and positive team player. Applicants should be comfortable with the elderly, enthusiastic, and excited. Must personify someone who is always in high spirits, happy and engaged. The ability to work independently is required. Experience in geriatrics is preferred, but not necessary.
