Job Description
Activities Assistant (30 Hours/Week) Monday-Friday | 1:00 PM - 7:00 PM and every other weekend.
Pay:

At Lutheran Rehabilitation & Skilled Nursing Center , we're looking for a compassionate, energetic, and creative Activities Assistant to help enrich the lives of our residents through engaging programs, meaningful connections, and memorable experiences. This isn't just an activities job. It's an opportunity to bring purpose, laughter, and companionship to older adults every single day. What You'll Do Plan and support engaging recreational, social, educational, spiritual, and wellness activities Encourage resident participation and build meaningful relationships Lead both group and one-on-one activities tailored to resident interests and abilities Assist with holiday celebrations, special events, entertainment, and community outings Support Resident Council meetings and resident engagement initiatives Help create a welcoming, vibrant, and positive environment throughout the community Complete required documentation and participate in care planning as needed Work closely with nursing, rehabilitation, and interdisciplinary team members to enhance quality of life What We're Looking For A warm, compassionate personality and genuine love for working with older adults Creativity, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude Strong communication and relationship-building skills Flexibility, reliability, and a team-first mindset Ability to work independently and adapt to changing resident needs At least one year of experience in activities, recreation, healthcare, senior living, or a related field preferred Why Join Lutheran?- Make a meaningful impact every day
