The ideal candidate enjoys working with older adults, has a positive attitude, and can create engaging programs that promote physical, emotional, cognitive, and social well-being. Responsibilities Plan and lead daily group activities and special events Organize arts and crafts, games, music, exercise, and social programs Adapt activities to meet participants' physical and cognitive abilities Encourage participation and social interaction Maintain monthly activity calendars and supply inventory Assist with holiday celebrations and community outings Monitor participant safety and engagement during activities Work closely with caregivers and interdisciplinary staff Document attendance and participant involvement Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Experience working with seniors, adults with disabilities, or in healthcare preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Creative, patient, and dependable personality Ability to lead groups and keep participants engaged CPR/First Aid certification preferred Benefits Competitive pay Supportive team environment Paid training Opportunities for growth and advancement Meaningful work making a difference in people's lives
