Job Description
Channel Your Talents! We are looking for someone interested in a full-time Activities Assistant role. This position is for the very energetic self-starter with excellent organizational and customer service skills. The Activities Assistant must be able to work with a variety of people and be able to multi-task in a very busy environment. This person will assist the Activities team in organizing recreational activities for the residents to ensure individualized needs and interests of the overall resident population within the Center are met.
Requirements:
- Experience with geriatric and dementia residents preferably in a healthcare environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, and customer service skills essential.
- High School Diploma and/or GED
- Weekday hours plus some evenings and weekends.
- Ability to utilize various software programs (i.e. PCC and Microsoft programs) Creative out-of-the-box thinkers are encouraged to apply. St. Mary's Nursing Center, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
