  • Overview:
  • We are seeking a dedicated Activity Assistant to join our team in providing engaging and enriching activities for residents in our assisted living facility. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with seniors and creating a supportive environment.
  • Responsibilities:
  • Plan, organize, and lead recreational activities for residents in assisted living, nursing home, memory care, and long-term care settings
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff to ensure activities meet the needs and preferences of the residents
  • Assist in coordinating events, outings, and programs that promote socialization and physical well-being
  • Provide emotional support and assistance to residents with aging issues through counseling and companionship
  • Manage schedules efficiently to ensure timely execution of planned activities
  • Skills:
  • Experience in event planning and organizing recreational activities
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with residents, families, and colleagues
  • Knowledge or background in assisted living, nursing home, memory care, senior care, or caregiving
  • Proficiency in schedule management to coordinate multiple activities simultaneously
