About BT Nursery Camp:

BT Nursery Camp is a fun, nurturing, and engaging summer program for children ages 2-4 (entering Preschool through Pre-K). Located at Beth Tfiloh Dahan Community School in Pikesville, MD, our camp utilizes state-of-the-art preschool facilities including a gymnasium and playground. Our program blends indoor and outdoor activities designed to keep campers active, curious, and engaged in a structured, age-appropriate environment. Job Summary We are seeking energetic, enthusiastic, and responsible individuals to join our team as Camp Counselors . In this role, you will supervise and engage with campers as they move through a variety of scheduled activities, ensuring a fun, safe, and inclusive camp experience for everyone. Camp Counselors help guide campers to each activity, encourage participation, and model positive attitudes and behavior. You'll join in on games, crafts, and outdoor adventures to keep campers motivated and involved while fostering teamwork, friendship, and respect. Ideal candidates are passionate about working with children, enjoy being active and outdoors, and are committed to creating a supportive and enjoyable environment for all campers. Responsibilities Lead and supervise a small group of campers ("bunk") Keep campers engaged through play, creativity, and structured activities Assist with daily routines like snack, transitions, and bathroom breaks Help create a safe, positive, and fun environment Participate in special activities like water days, foam parties, and more Qualifications Experience working with children in settings such as daycare, childcare, or education is preferred. Knowledge of childhood development principles and behavior management strategies is beneficial. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also demonstrating leadership qualities. Must be enthusiastic, patient, and adaptable to changing situations throughout the camp day. Team player with a positive attitude.
