Activities Assistant (Full-Time) - Assisted Living The Orchards at Armada Village - Armada, MI The Orchards at Armada Village Assisted Living is currently seeking a Full-Time Activities Assistant to join our dedicated team. We are looking for someone who is compassionate, energetic, and enjoys creating meaningful experiences for our residents.

Schedule:

Full-Time 8

Hour Shifts Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist in planning and leading daily group and individual activities for Assisted Living residents Encourage resident participation to support social, emotional, and physical well-being Help with games, crafts, exercise programs, music activities, movie nights, holiday events, and outings Set up and clean up activity areas and supplies Build positive relationships with residents and provide one-on-one engagement when needed Assist residents to and from activities as needed Document resident participation and communicate updates to the Life Enrichment Director Help decorate the community for holidays, special events, and themed activities Support residents in maintaining a fun, active, and welcoming environment

Qualifications and Skills:

Compassionate and patient personality Strong communication and teamwork skills Creative, positive, and dependable Experience working with seniors preferred but not required Ability to multitask and stay organized Ability to assist with transporting residents and lifting activity supplies when needed
