Position Vision:

The shipping and receiving staff maintains the accuracy, organization, and product flow of the inventory in the retail store.

Position Expectations and Responsibilities:

Follow Operational Procedures Receive, transfer and adjust product, according to established procedures used consistently by all retail locations Ensure accurate data entry of all transfers and adjustments to inventory Communicate with respective merchandise managers and distribution manager all concerns regarding shipping errors Maintain back stock of all footwear inventory and other inventory as called out Maintain and organize an efficient shipping and receiving area Oversee execution of price changes and return to vendor authorizations Receive new product and coordinate movement to the sales floor in partnership with other staff and visual merchandising team Communicate new receipts with visual merchandising team and product flow coordinators Oversee accuracy of customer special orders and customer transfers, providing exceptional experiences Fulfill ecommerce order requests in accordance with company procedure Train staff on basic shipping and receiving transactions and hold staff accountable for accuracy Assist with semi-annual physical inventory Assist floor staff during promotions and sales Complete all other tasks assigned by Store Manager Van Maintenance Ensure proper registration and insurance information is in the van at all times Schedule yearly maintenance check and keep up oil changes Maintain record of needed repairs Seek Knowledge and Growth Opportunities Take initiative to identify and solve problems Take responsibility for professional development Independent worker Respond to coaching and feedback Adaptable to the changing needs of the store and business Exhibit Care Show desire to live Gazelle Sport's mission and support others to do so Respectful and appreciative of other staff and manager's roles Value team members as equals Promote an enjoyable work atmosphere Position Requirements Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Strong time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines Solid analytical and problem solving skills Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate when appropriate Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment

Other Requirements:

Ability to physically lift a minimum of 25 lbs, bend, squat, etc. Basic computer skills Willingness and ability to drive and conduct weekly van/truck runs
