Activities Coordinator/ Dining room attendent

Looking for an energetic person who loves seniors and has a caring heart. Activities is a part time job with option of learning to assist in the dining room during meals for additional hours. These two jobs can be separated or put together to have full time hours.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Develop cognitive, physical, social and spiritual programs that promote each residents' quality of life Develop, lead and facilitate recreational programs appropriate for small and large groups, and one-on-one that promote resident satisfaction Organize outings Create and distribute a monthly life enrichment calendar Tastefully decorate the community for holidays and events Plan and host community events for residents and families, coordinating with other departments Identify and coordinate a group of community volunteers for life enrichment activities Order life enrichment supplies within department budget Ability to inspire and motivate staff through consistent leadership, supervision and coaching Dining room responsibilities requires Promote positive relationships with residents, staff and visitors
