Role:
SEEKING A PART TIME - ACTVITIES AIDE
(CNA experience preferred)
AFTERNOON SHIFT
3p-8p weekdays and rotating weekends As an Activities Aide with CNA (Nurse Aide) experience at Pine Creek Manor, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents. You will be responsible for planning and implementing engaging activities that promote physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Your efforts will contribute to creating a warm and welcoming environment that fosters a sense of community and belonging. You will work closely with our residents, their families, and our team of healthcare professionals to ensure that our residents receive the highest level of care and attention.
Minimum Qualifications:
Certified Nurse Aide experience High school diploma or equivalent - required to show documentation Experience working with skilled nursing residents or in a healthcare setting Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification as an Activities Professional - preferred Experience planning and implementing activities for seniors Experience working with individuals with dementia or other cognitive impairments
Responsibilities:
Plan and implement a variety of activities that cater to the physical, mental, and emotional needs of our residents Encourage resident participation in activities and events Maintain accurate records of resident participation and progress Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure that activities are appropriate and beneficial for each resident Maintain a clean and organized activity area
Skills:
As an Activities Aide, you will utilize your excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with our residents and their families. You will also use your creativity and organizational skills to plan and implement engaging activities that promote physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Your ability to work independently and as part of a team will be essential in ensuring that our residents receive the highest level of care and attention. Additionally, your flexibility and adaptability will be crucial in responding to the changing needs of our residents and the healthcare team.
