Job Description

Description We are seeking an enthusiastic and creative Activities Coordinator to join our team. The Activities Coordinator will be responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing a variety of activities for our clients. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with people and a desire to make a positive impact on their lives.
Responsibilities:
  • Plan and organize a variety of activities for clients, including but not limited to arts and crafts, games, exercise classes, and outings.
  • Develop and maintain a calendar of events and activities.
  • Work with clients to identify their interests and preferences and incorporate them into the activity schedule.
  • Ensure that all activities are safe, appropriate, and enjoyable for clients.
  • Maintain accurate records of attendance and participation in activities.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to ensure that activities are integrated into the overall care plan for each client.
  • Communicate regularly with clients and their families to keep them informed about upcoming activities.
  • Housekeeping duties as needed.
Shift :
Monday to Friday 12:30pm to 4:30pm
Rate:
$18 Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • Previous experience working with seniors or individuals with disabilities preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Creativity and enthusiasm for developing engaging activities.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect for clients' privacy.
  • Must be able to pass a background check.
