Job Summary:
Motivate residents to participate in activities to promote activity of mind and body and encourage a feeling of well being and worth in the residents.
Job Responsibilities:
Creating supportive activities under direct supervision of the Activity Director. Encouraging individual residents to participate in activities. Assisting in finding methods to motivate residents to take an interest in life and the community. Helping recruit and train volunteers. Maintaining supplies and equipment in a safe way. Seeing that the activity areas are in good and clean order before and after each activity. Documenting resident activity participation and attendance and taking part in documenting
Job Qualifications & Skills:
High School Diploma or G.E.D. Certificate Interest in working in Geriatric setting Experience in various activities and handicrafts Verbal and written communication skills We Own It!.
