Parks and Recreation Immediate Supervisor:
Recreation Supervisor Position Summary:
The Front Desk Staff Member serves as the first point of contact for visitors to the Parks and Recreation facility. This role is responsible for providing excellent customer service, assisting with program registrations, handling payments, and supporting daily administrative operations to ensure a welcoming and efficient environment.

Part time-Primarily evenings and weekends.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet and assist guests, participants, and community members in a friendly and professional manner
  • Provide information about programs, events and facility usage
  • Process registrations, reservations, and payments accurately
  • Answer phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries
  • Maintain accurate records and update participant information
  • Handle cash, credit card transactions, and reconcile daily receipts
  • Monitor facility access and enforce policies as needed
  • Assist with scheduling, program sign-ups, and general administrative tasks
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front desk area
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with registration or POS systems
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy environment
  • Friendly, dependable, and professional demeanor
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
  • Occasional lifting of light materials (e.g., program materials, supplies)
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Previous customer service or administrative experience preferred

  • Recreation center or administrative office setting
  • May include morning, daytime, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on facility hours
Pay:
From $17.00 per hour
