Early Childhood Summer Camp Counselor

Job Overview We're looking for enthusiastic, caring, and energetic Summer Camp Counselors to join our team! Duties Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote creativity, social skills, and physical development Supervise children during camp activities, ensuring safety and engagement at all times Manage classroom behavior with positive reinforcement techniques and effective behavior management strategies Assist with daily routines such as snack time, outdoor play, arts and crafts, and storytime Collaborate with fellow counselors to create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for all children Administer basic first aid when necessary and follow health and safety protocols diligently Support children with special needs by applying inclusive teaching practices and accommodations when required Skills Strong classroom management skills to maintain a positive environment Knowledge of childhood development principles to support age-specific needs Ability to handle emergency situations calmly using first aid skills Excellent communication skills for working effectively with children, parents, and team members Background in teaching, tutoring, or camp supervision enhances your ability to engage kids creatively Compassionate attitude with a passion for working with children of diverse backgrounds and abilities Embark on this exciting summer journey where your energy fuels joyful learning experiences!
