Activities Assistant:

• Candidates must have prior experience as an Activities Assistant in a skilled nursing facility (SNF). • Do you have a passion for working with seniors? When you join The Laurels of Salisbury as an Activities Assistant, you will help support and carry out an ongoing program of activities designed to meet the interests and support the physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being of each guest. In this role, you will assist the Activities Director in providing meaningful activities and enrichment for residents. Candidates must have prior experience as an Activities Assistant in a skilled nursing facility (SNF). Responsibilities Complete assessments and develop care plans to design activities that are multi-faceted, meet guests' functional levels, and reflect the needs and interests of each guest. Offer activities that engage and involve facility, staff, volunteers and visitors. Assist with escorting guests to and from activities. Post monthly activity calendars Manage Activities Assistants in facilitating guest engagement in activities.
