Adept Nursing & Rehab of Central City is now hiring a Activity Aide!
Schedule:
Full-time with some weekends needed Are you creative, compassionate, and passionate about making a difference in the lives of others? Our Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is seeking friendly and energetic Activity Assistants to join our team and help create meaningful experiences for our residents each day. What We Offer Competitive pay Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off (PTO) Daily Pay 401k Supportive team environment Opportunities for training and career growth The Activity Aide assist in planning, organizing, and implementing recreational and therapeutic activities for residents in a skilled nursing and long-term care environment. This role helps promote residents' physical, mental, and social well-being while enhancing their quality of life. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred Experience in long-term care, recreation, or working with seniors preferred Compassionate, patient, and dependable personality Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work with residents with varying physical and cognitive abilities Must be able to work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays Responsibilities Assist with planning and leading daily activities, events, and group programs for residents Encourage resident participation in social, recreational, and therapeutic activities Help transport residents to and from activities as needed Set up and clean up activity areas and supplies Document resident participation and responses to activities Provide one-on-one visits with residents who are unable to attend group activities Assist with special events, holiday celebrations, and community outings Support the Activity Director in maintaining an engaging monthly activity calendar If you enjoy bringing smiles to others and creating meaningful moments for seniors, we would love to hear from you!
