Day Camp Counselor

Camp Allen NH is seeking dynamic and compassionate Day Camp Counselors! We are a summer camp for people who have disabilities, and welcome campers of any age. The hours for this position are 8:30-4:00, Monday through Friday, mid June through August. We are seeking staff who are positive, engaging, and eager to learn and work with our campers. You do not need to have experience working with individuals who have complex disabilities, though that is a plus. We will train you in everything that you need to know. We are primarily looking for staff who are enthusiastic about our campers having a great time, and when the campers are having a great time it means the counselors are too. Counselors participate in activities alongside campers, assist campers with activities of daily living, and provide campers with positive behavior support. A typical day includes swimming, arts and crafts, singing and dancing, and many other activities. At Camp Allen NH we appreciate differences and celebrate all abilities with joy and positivity.
