Summer Camp Counselor (Seasonal) Summer 2026

Overview We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Camp Counselors to join our team for an enriching and fun-filled camp experience. As a Camp Counselor, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for children. You will be responsible for leading activities, providing guidance, and ensuring the well-being of campers throughout their time at camp. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about working with children and have a desire to foster personal growth and development in a camp setting. We would love to have you!! Responsibilities Supervise and engage with campers during various activities, ensuring their safety and enjoyment. Plan, organize, and lead recreational activities such as sports, arts and crafts, and nature exploration. Implement behavior management strategies to maintain a positive camp environment. Provide first aid assistance when necessary and ensure that all health protocols are followed. Foster relationships with campers by being approachable, supportive, and attentive to their needs. Communicate effectively with parents regarding camper progress and any concerns that may arise. Collaborate with fellow counselors to create a cohesive team atmosphere that promotes teamwork and camaraderie. Experience Ideal candidates will possess the following skills and experiences: Previous experience working with children in a camp or educational setting is preferred. Familiarity with first aid practices is beneficial. We can certify you in First aid and CPR. Background in babysitting or child care is advantageous. Experience in behavior management techniques to support diverse camper needs. Skills in sports coaching or leading physical activities are a plus.
