Summer Camp Staff

Job Description:

Camp Counselors will assist with leading, overseeing, and cleaning up for a variety of sports, games, crafts and nature activities. Counselors participate, energize, interact and supervise campers in all activities, including lunch, to ensure participation, safety and fun. Essential Functions Maintain and inventory all equipment necessary for the program area. Ensure that the site is kept clean and organized. Identify and respond to camper behavior issues. Assist in maintaining accurate program records including incident reports and daily attendance. Know and understand all emergency procedures associated with the camp program. Know, enforce and follow all safety guidelines and the Code of Conduct associated with the camp. This includes but is not limited to being responsible for your campers' safety and their whereabouts at all times. Actively participate in staff training and meetings. Help in other camp program areas as needed. Qualifications Minimum age of 15. Experience in camp, youth programs, recreation, working with children, or in a related field preferred, or a strong desire to go into such field. Ability to lead, plan, organize and implement program activities. Demonstrated ability to work as a member of a team. Strong organizational and communication skills. Camp Locations Croydon Hall, Poricy Park, Mater Dei Field, Monmouth Museum Schedule Mandatory staff training held June 22nd

• 26th. Camp runs from June 29th
• August 14th and applicant must be available to work entire 8 weeks (1 week of training and 7 weeks of camp). This job is Monday through Friday with hours 8:15am
• 2:15pm, approximately.

Pay:

$15.00
