Up to$17 per hour Join Our Team as a Recreation Aide! Arnold Walter Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a compassionate, energetic, and creative Recreation Aide to join our team. In this role, you'll help design and carry out fun, engaging, and meaningful recreational activities that enrich the lives of our residents, supporting their physical, emotional, and social well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in planning, organizing, and implementing recreation programs. Lead and supervise residents in activities such as games, crafts, exercise, and social events. Encourage resident and family participation in activity planning. Conduct resident interviews to personalize programs to individual interests and abilities. Observe, document, and report resident participation, mood, and behavior. Accompany and assist residents during outings, field trips, and walks. Transport residents within the facility to and from activities. Collaborate with other departments to coordinate events. Maintain compliance with HIPAA and facility policies.

Requirements:

Friendly, outgoing, and team-oriented personality. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Professional, empathetic, and respectful when working with residents, families, and staff. Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently. Ability to maintain a positive attitude in all situations. Is involved with residents, personnel, visitors, government agencies and personnel, etc., under all conditions and circumstances. Attends and participates in continuing educational programs.
