Summer Camp Counselor

Join our summer camp program as one of our engaging summer camp counselors. This unique, creative, and fun individual will be assigned to a group and will engage students while supporting the program's overall goals.

Dates:

July 6th, 2026•August 28th, 2026 (must be available on all DATES)

Days:

Monday through

Friday Time:

8:30AM•5:30PM/11AM•7PM Must be available 5 days a week during program hours. Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of participants in the program, by providing appropriate supervision at all times. Plan and implement meaningful activities, lesson plans, and special events that are age-appropriate and exciting based in the areas of arts, STEM, character development, creative expression, community service, physical fitness, and/or nutrition Maintain accurate program documentation (attendance, sign in/out forms, behavior/incident/accident reports, as appropriate). Actively participate in training sessions, designated meetings, and special events as needed.

Job Requirements:

Experience working with school-age children required Must be comfortable working with large groups of students ages 3yr old-13yrs old. Must be able to work cooperatively with other staff members to ensure the program runs at high quality. Can structure the program with engaging and fun activities, including but not limited to homework help, arts, and crafts, physical activities, team building, etc. Must be comfortable with swimming and supervising students inside pool. Must be able to supervise students on field trips. Must be able to walk, run, jump, etc. Must have a friendly personality and be comfortable communicating with parents of students. Qualifications MUST be able to work for 8 weeks starting July 6, 2026•August 28, 2026 (must be available on all DATES) Successful work history of at least 2 years working with children.

For LEAD counselors:

A bachelor's degree (or working towards one) in Early Childhood Education or another field related to child growth and development is required

A MANDATORY

Extensive Background Check will be conducted before hiring. If hired, First Aid training, CPR, and other training will be required.
