Mon,Tue,Wed,Thu,Fri The Summer Camp Coordinator will supervise the Summer Camp Counselors and other staff to create a high quality experience for each camper. The Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring the safety, well being,and personal growth of each camper. In addition, the Coordinator must demonstrate positive, professional role modeling at all times; acting in a manner that is consistent with the mission of New Community Corporation.

Responsibilities:

Assist the Camp Director in overseeing the daily activities, general camp operations and and programs to ensure a quality camp. Assist in the development of programming and with hiring and handling staffing. Ensure that all program area schedules are completed satisfactorily in a timely manner. Ensure that the site is kept clean,organized and free of liter. Be responsible for knowing, understanding, training, and executing all camp policies and emergency procedures associated with the camp. Interact effectively with the camp staff as a total system, with campers' best interest in mind.

Experience and Skills:

Education Requirements and Experience:

High School Diploma or equivalent At least 3 years experience working in a summer camp At least 1 year experience in a supervisory capacity Experience working wiht children ages 6-13
