Day Camp Counselor Orange Soccer Camp Orange, NJ Job Details Part-time | Full-time Up to $266.55 a week 1 day ago Qualifications Interpersonal skills Collaboration Outdoor work Child supervision Camp Full Job Description Job Overview Join our vibrant team as a Day Camp Counselor at a soccer focused summer camp, where you'll play a pivotal role in creating a safe and secure environment for children during their camp days. In this position, you'll simply be a second pair of eyes while the soccer coaches conduct a soccer session. While keeping watch, applying enthusiasm and encouragement will inspire young campers to explore new interests, build friendships, and develop essential life skills. This paid role offers an exciting opportunity to make a lasting impact on campers and the community during this World Cup season! Responsibilities Supervise and encourage children during soccer sessions Ensure the safety of all campers by maintaining vigilant management and behavior management techniques Respond promptly to any emergencies or behavioral issues Foster an inclusive environment that respects diversity Collaborate with fellow staff members to maintain safe environment and seamless camp sessions Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding camper progress and behavior
  • situational Qualifications Prior experience working with children in settings such as daycare, babysitting, tutoring, or camp programs
