Camp Full Job Description Job Summary:
We are looking for energetic and responsible individuals to join our team as Summer Camp Teaching Counselor . As a teaching counselor, you will play a key role in creating a positive and memorable experience for campers. You will lead and participate in a variety of activities, ensure the safety and well-being of campers, and serve as a positive role model. This is a great opportunity for those who enjoy working with children and want to make a difference in their lives.

6/29 ~ 8/7 (no camp on 7/3)

Lindbergh Elementary School 401 Glen Ave, Palisades Park, NJ 07650
Full Time:
Hours:
9AM ~ 3PM (Monday-Friday) •
Teaching Counselor :
Pay :
starting pay $2700
Qualifications:
High school diploma or currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree Previous experience working with children in a camp, school, or recreational setting Strong communication and interpersonal skills Enthusiasm, creativity, and a positive attitude Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Responsibilities:
Assist the camp director in planning, organizing, and implementing the camp program Supervise and support camp staff, including counselors, instructors, and other personnel Ensure the safety and well-being of all campers, staff, and visitors Oversee the implementation of camp policies and procedures Manage camp supplies, equipment, and facilities Maintain accurate records of attendance, behavior, and incident reports Assist with the set-up, clean-up, and organization of camp materials and supplies Help coordinate special events, field trips, and other camp activities Perform other duties as assigned by Director •Teaching Counselor's other duties Ability to follow schedule and teach extracurricular activities Science Lab, Arts & Crafts, Computer Lab, Dessert-Making If you are passionate about working with children and creating memorable summer experiences, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity!
