Camp Counselor

This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit, charitable organization committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. The Camp Counselor supports the mission of the West Morris Area YMCA by fostering a passion for the joy of learning and adventure in children. Must be at least 17 years old. Junior/Senior Counselor Positions available.

Qualifications:

• CPR/First aid certification (preferred).
• Understanding of and enthusiasm for the mission of the YMCA.
• 1-year experience working with children in a learning or camp environment (preferred).
• Ability to effectively relate to diverse groups of people from all socio-economic backgrounds and communities.
