Counselors play a vital role in creating a supportive, empowering "sisterhood" environment where campers build confidence, improve health habits, and form lifelong friendships. Key Responsibilities Supervise and actively engage a group of campers throughout daily schedules and activities Serve as a mentor and positive role model, promoting self-esteem, confidence, and body positivity Lead and participate in a wide range of activities including sports, fitness classes, arts, and evening programs Support campers in developing healthy habits related to nutrition, exercise, and overall wellness Ensure the safety, well-being, and inclusion of all campers at all times Assist with daily routines including meals, cabin life, and bedtime Collaborate with staff including nutritionists and leadership to support camper growth Maintain a clean, organized, and respectful living environment Follow all camp policies, safety procedures, and supervision guidelines Qualifications Must be at least 19 years old At least one year of college or equivalent work experience. Experience working with children or teens preferred Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills Positive attitude, flexibility, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment Interest in health, fitness, or mentoring youth Ability to live on-site and commit to the full camp season Preferred Qualifications Previous camp counseling or youth leadership experience Background in fitness, athletics, or wellness-related activities Passion for empowering girls and supporting personal growth What We Offer Room and board included.
