Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and energetic Recreation Aide to join our dedicated team in providing engaging, meaningful activities for our residents. In this vital role, you will create a vibrant, supportive environment that promotes social interaction and overall well-being. Your enthusiasm and creativity will help enhance residents' quality of life through thoughtfully planned recreational programs. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on our residents experiences while fostering a lively community atmosphere.
PER DIEM / SUNDAY 9
00 AM - 5:00 PM Key Responsibilities Plan, organize, and facilitate a variety of recreational activities, including games, arts and crafts, music therapy, outings, and special events that cater to residents' interests and abilities Monitor residents' participation in activities, providing encouragement and support. Manage activity schedules efficiently to ensure timely execution of programs Maintain detailed records of participation, and activity feedback to improve program offerings Foster a warm, engaging atmosphere that promotes socialization and community involvement among residents Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; experience in recreation or a related field preferred. Prior experience in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or long-term care environments is highly preferred Excellent organizational skills for managing activity schedules and documentation accurately A genuine passion for enhancing residents quality of life through creative programming and social engagement Join us in making every day brighter for our residents!

$18.00 - $19.00 per hour
