Summer Camp Counselor/Teacher (Seasonal)

Childcare Director and Operations Manager Job Overview:

The CHAMP Group Teacher will work closely with the other CHAMP Group Teachers and the Childcare Director to support the childcare program. This position will require the teacher to: Provide assistance to the other CHAMP teachers and children during program hours Lead and facilitate activities Follow a schedule and instructions Serve as support to other teachers and staff in the building Have strong communication skills with other CHAMP teachers as well as the Childcare Director Responsible for the care of the children during program hours Responsible to report situations of child abuse or maltreatment of any kind

Time Availability:

The CHAMP Summer Camp program runs from 8:30am - 5:30pm, Monday-Friday.

Qualifications:

Associates degree or higher and at least one year of experience working with children less than 13 years of age Or a High School diploma (or its equivalent) and two years of direct experience working with children less than 13 years of age.
