Recreation Aid

We are currently seeking an Full-Time Recreation Aide to join our growing team of profesionals. The ideal candidate will have great interpersonal skills and will assist with planning, developing, organizing, implementing , and evaluating the recreation programs for our residents. The Recreation Aide position rotates evenings and weekends hours.

Recreation Aide Responsibilities:

Lead activity programs for residents. Develop and create new recreation programs. Encourage residents' participation in programs. Prepare supplies and activities in advance. Participate in monthly activity calendar production. Track attendance at programs. Coordinate activities with other departments, as necessary. Assist in developing individualized care plans. Implement recreation procedures as directed by the Recreation Director by creating decorations, setting up necessary equipment as needed.

Recreation Aide Requirements:

Must possess, as a minimum of, a high school diploma or G.E.D. or equivalent. Must be energetic with a flexible schedule. Must have excellent communication, interpersonal and computer skills. Previous experience as a Activity Aide is preferred but not required.
