Full Job Description Job Summary:
We are seeking an enthusiastic Activity Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with teens and creating engaging activities to promote learning and development.
Dates:
July 5-August 1
Location:
Barnard College Shifts:
8:30-1:00 or 5:45-9:15 Hours /
Week:
20-25 hours (Part Time)
Responsibilities:
  • Plan and implement age-appropriate activities for teens in Manhattan
  • Assist in supervising children during touristic activities throughout NYC using public transportation
  • Provide support to children who require additional assistance
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment for all participants
  • Collaborate with other staff members to ensure the success of programs
  • Airport meet and greets at
JFK, Newark or La Guardia Experience:
  • Previous experience in childhood development, tutoring, childcare, babysitting, or related fields. Ability to manage a group of international teenagers. Have a strong, energetic presence
  • Experience working with children/teens or students in educational settings especially international students
  • Background in sports coaching or similar activities is a plus
  • Ability to educate and engage children in various activities This position offers the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of international teens while gaining valuable experience in the field of education and child development.
