Job Description
Planning and leading structured recreational, fitness, cooperative games, mental and physical wellness, and movement-based activities that support social-emotional growth, student engagement, teamwork, and physical education credit requirements within an alternative education setting. Tuesdays and Wednesday 8:30 - 2:30 September through June (school calendar) This is a great opportunity for someone interested in education, recreation, social work, psychology, counseling, youth development, or related fields to gain valuable hands-on experience working with teens in an alternative education setting. Staff help plan and lead engaging recreational and wellness activities that support students' social, emotional, and academic growth. Beyond building professional skills, you will have the chance to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young people by helping them develop confidence, positive relationships, healthy coping skills, and a stronger path toward success. Every day offers an opportunity to inspire, encourage, and support students who can benefit from a caring and positive role model.
