The Port Washington Children's Center (PWCC) is a warm, welcoming, and community-focused early childhood program dedicated to nurturing children through engaging, hands-on learning and play. Our summer camp program is filled with exciting activities, outdoor fun, and memorable experiences for children of all ages.

Position Overview:

We are seeking enthusiastic, responsible, and energetic Summer Camp Counselors to join our team! Counselors will help create a safe, fun, and enriching environment for children while leading activities, supporting daily routines, and fostering positive relationships.

Responsibilities:

Supervise and ensure the safety of all campers at all times Plan and lead engaging activities including arts & crafts, games, and outdoor play Assist with swimming, trips, and special events Encourage teamwork, inclusion, and positive behavior Support daily routines such as snack, lunch, and transitions Communicate effectively with staff and supervisors Serve as a positive role model for all campers

Qualifications:

Experience working with children (camp, school, childcare, or related setting preferred) Energetic, patient, and dependable Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to work outdoors and stay active throughout the day Must be at least 16 years old (or adjust as needed)

Schedule:
