Team Lead (Assistant Manager) The Warrior Factory - Rochester, NY Part-Time to Full-Time Opportunity $18.00 - $20.00 per hour Job Overview The Warrior Factory is Rochester's premier ninja obstacle and family entertainment facility offering classes, camps, birthday parties, competitions, and open gym programs for children and adults. We are seeking an energetic, dependable, and motivated Team Lead (Assistant Manager) to help oversee daily operations, lead staff during shifts, and provide exceptional guest experiences in a fun and active environment. This position is ideal for college students, recent graduates, or young professionals looking to build leadership experience in recreation, hospitality, fitness, childcare, or entertainment industries. Compensation $18.00 - $20.00 per hour Paid weekly Opportunities for additional hours based on business needs and performance Schedule Expected Hours Typically 20-30+ hours per week Full-time status may be available for employees consistently working 30+ hours weekly Facility Operating Hours Summer Season Between 7:00 AM and 8:00

PM Non-Summer Season Weekdays:

3:00 PM - 9:00

PM Weekends:

8:00 AM - 9:00 PM Availability Requirements Must be available to work at least one weekend day each week Evening, weekend, school break, and summer availability preferred Schedules are provided in advance and may vary based on operational needs. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Open and close the facility following company procedures Lead and supervise team members during shifts (typically 3-6 employees) Deliver excellent customer service to guests and families Assist with front desk operations and point-of-sale transactions Support birthday parties, camps, classes, and special events Coach and assist participants during classes and activities Address customer concerns professionally and escalate issues when appropriate Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety throughout the facility Enforce facility rules and safety standards Assist with daily operational tasks and team communication Qualifications Preferred Qualifications Prior leadership, supervisory, or management experience preferred Experience working with children, camps, sports, hospitality, or recreation programs preferred Strong communication and problem-solving skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Additional Desired Qualifications (Not Required) CPR and/or First Aid certification Coaching, athletics, ninja, gymnastics, parkour, or fitness experience Childcare or camp experience Physical Requirements Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions.
