Full Job Description Recreation Assistant Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and energetic Recreation Assistant to join our team at Woodbury Heights Nursing and Rehabilitation Center! As a Recreation Assistant, you will play a vital role in creating a cheerful and energetic atmosphere that fosters healing and restoration for our residents. Responsibilities:
Plan and implement a variety of recreational activities, including arts and crafts, games, outings, and social events, to promote socialization, cognitive stimulation, and emotional well-being among our residents Collaborate with other team members to develop and implement individualized activity plans for each resident, ensuring that their physical, emotional, and social needs are met Provide support and assistance with daily living activities, such as escorting residents to activities, helping with meals, and providing medication reminders Maintain accurate records of resident participation, activity schedules, and equipment inventory Identify and report any changes in resident behavior or condition to the nursing staff Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and staff members About the
Role:
As a vital member of our care team, you will contribute to creating a warm and welcoming environment that puts our residents at the center of everything we do. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement resident-centered activities that promote physical, emotional, and social well-being.
Requirements:
