Summer Camp Counselor (High School & College Students) AI and Beyond Academy - Syosset, NY Inspire, Lead, and Make a Difference This Summer! AI and Beyond Academy is seeking enthusiastic, responsible, and energetic High School Student Counselors and College Student Counselors to join our exciting Summer Camp team in Syosset, NY . Our camp combines STEM education, AI, robotics, game design, and sports activities to create an engaging and enriching experience for students. We are looking for positive role models who enjoy working with children and helping campers learn, grow, and have fun. Positions Available High School Student Counselor Rising high school juniors, seniors, or recent graduates Strong academic performance preferred Leadership experience in clubs, sports, or community activities is a plus College Student Counselor Current college students or recent graduates Experience working with children, tutoring, coaching, or mentoring preferred Strong leadership and communication skills Preferred Backgrounds & Skills Candidates with experience or interest in one or more of the following areas are highly encouraged to apply: Sports Tennis Basketball Badminton Soccer STEM & Technology Game Design Robotics (LEGO Robotics, VEX Robotics) Coding / Computer Science Artificial Intelligence (AI) Responsibilities Supervise and engage campers throughout daily activities Assist instructors during STEM, robotics, and game design sessions Lead and participate in sports and recreational activities Foster a safe, positive, and inclusive camp environment Serve as a mentor and role model for younger students Support camp operations and special events Qualifications Positive attitude and enthusiasm for working with children Responsible, dependable, and professional Strong communication and teamwork skills Leadership experience preferred Excellent academic record preferred Top GPA and strong academic achievement are highly valued CPR/First Aid certification is a plus (not required) What You'll Gain Leadership and teaching experience Community service and professional development opportunities Hands-on exposure to AI, robotics, and emerging technologies A fun and rewarding summer working with motivated students
