Summer Camp Coordinator Chagrin Falls Park Community Center, Chagrin Falls, OH Full time, 35 hours/week •This is a
TEMPORARY POSITION
during the summer. $15/hour
SCHEDULE
M-F, Evenings & Weekends as needed
SUMMARY:
This position provides support and facilitation of program for summer programming including training and supervising volunteers.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide guidance and role modeling to student at all times. Provide academic enrichment activities for students. Implement programs under guidance of supervisor. Provide proper record keeping and reporting including activities and events conducted. Monitor daily attendance and member status. Ensure a healthy and safe environment, supervising members in program areas at all times. Preparations set up and clean up of all programs. Maintain inventory of all program equipment and supplies, keep them in good order, and reorder as necessary. Participate in special programs and/or events as requested by supervisor. Complies with agency policies and procedures, COA regulations, federal and state requirements, and educational/certification/registry requirements. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
High School diploma or equivalent required. Candidate must have the ability to motivate youth and manage behavior problems. Ability to monitor and provide support to students and volunteers. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. with or without assistance. Must be able to bend, stretch and stand. Must be able to drive offsite locations. Valid Ohio Driver's License and ability to meet agency requirements for driving insurability. Must be able to meet agency requirements for criminal back ground check (Ohio Bureau of Criminal Identification & Investigation).
PREFERRED
Bachelor's degree preferred. Knowledge or experience in human services or equivalent field.
