Job Description

Sports Complex Assistant Manager/Strength and Performance Coordinator Seton High School, an all-girls Catholic high school sponsored by the Sisters of Charity of Cincinnati, seeks a full-time Assistant Manager/Strength and Performance Coordinator for the Seton Sports Complex located in Delhi Township. The Assistant Manager is responsible for providing day-to-day support to the Manager of the Seton Sports Complex and will lead the strength and conditioning programs for all Seton sports teams. We are looking for a professional who is eager to learn, adaptable, and passionate about athlete development and performance. The candidate upholds and models a moral code consistent with the teachings of the Catholic Church, Sisters of Charity, the mission of Seton High School and Catholic education.
ACCOUNTABILITY
  • The Assistant Manager reports to the Manager of the Seton Sports Complex.
QUALIFICATIONS
:
  • Bachelor's degree in Sports Management, Business or related field AND three (3) years of experience in an administrative support role OR any equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must have a strength and conditioning certification through an accredited program.
  • Possess the skills to work with and support future Saints and families, alumnae, current students, faculty, staff and other participants from all different skills levels.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally.
  • Prior experience in sports-specific performance training, functional strength & conditioning and mobility/stretching & injury prevention.
  • Applicant must exhibit ability to instruct, supervise and demonstrate associated exercises in a weightlifting-based training environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and writing skills and ensure all communications (written, printed, digital, verbal) are consistent with the teachings of the Catholic Church and the mission of Seton High School.
  • Documented CPR and AED certifications.
  • Excellent presentation and verbal communication skills.
  • Be a "self-starter", goal-driven and ability to grow within a team-oriented environment.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Assist the Manager in day-to-day operations of the Sports Complex.
  • Organize rental of suites and community event room.
  • Assist with minor facility maintenance needs.
  • Oversee daily operations, programming, scheduling, and general use of the Seton Sports Complex weight room, including establishing policies, procedures and team schedules.
  • Collaborate with coaches to design, implement and assess strength and conditioning programs; lead team, small group, and individual training sessions, and provide education for all weight room users.
  • Support education for student-athletes regarding nutrition and supplementation.
  • Maintain inventory of weight room equipment used and oversee their continued maintenance.
  • Work closely with the Manager and Site Managers to ensure student-athletes' schedules and needs are met.
HOURS:
  • Full-time varied hours depending on athletic program needs.
Must be comfortable working evenings and weekends as necessary to complete job responsibilities .
