Activity Aide Cleveland, OH Aristos Rehabilitation and Nursing Center Join Our Dynamic Team and Make a Difference in the Lives of Others! As an Activity Aide at Aristos Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and rewarding environment where you will provide vital support to our residents and staff. Our center is committed to delivering exceptional care and services to our residents, and we are seeking a compassionate and energetic Activity Aide to join our team. About the
Role:
Assists with daily activities, such as organizing events, scheduling programs, and leading recreational activities for residents Supports the Activity Director in planning, implementing, and evaluating activities to meet the physical, emotional, and social needs of residents Collaborates with interdisciplinary team members to ensure that activities are tailored to individual resident needs and preferences Maintains accurate records and reports of activities, participation, and resident feedback
Responsibilities:
Engage residents in activities, games, and social events, promoting socialization, recreation, and well-being Assist with preparing materials, supplies, and equipment for activities and events Participate in care planning conferences and provide input on activity plans and recommendations Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for activities and events
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Knowledge of activity programming and recreation therapy principles preferred
