Occasion Values:
R espect I ntegrity and I nnovation S tewardship E xcellence Responsibilities include one-on-one personal training for our seniors, planning and instruction of multiple fitness classes throughout the week, as well as overseeing and planning of our indoor and outdoor Recreation programs.
Some Specifics Include:
Responsible for the operation of the indoor/outdoor recreation program. Assists in teaching group fitness score: and provides personal training. Provide technical help with our Community Engagement App and other projects as assigned. Maintain current knowledge of Friendship Village of Dublin and community service resources and refer residents to appropriate programs. Overall knowledge of the Wellness Center - its offerings, equipment, policies and procedures. Assist in collaboration with all Wellness Center staff and be flexible to assure the Wellness Department as a whole provides optimal service. Communicate and interact effectively and tactfully with the resident, visitors, families, peers and supervisors
QULAIFICATIONS
Remain current on new research in the Wellness/Fitness arena. Assist in maintaining Fitness Center equipment. Experience in leading recreational activities. Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office products). Must possess excellent communication, public speaking, time management, and organizational skills. Must be able to affectively read, write, and communicate in English. Personal Training Certification required. Group fitness certification preferred.
